Kano State Commissioner Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Adamu Aliyu Kibiya has received over one hundred APC Supporters from Tarai in Kibiya Local Government Area under the party woman Leader who decamped in to NNPP.
Speaking, the APC woman Leader Hajiya Sabuwa Suleiman Tarai disclosed that their decision to joint NNPP was influenced by the development projects and programs executed by the administration of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.
She explained that it is quite impressive to see how the Governor within just two years implemented various development projects aimed at improving the socio-economic life of people in the state.
” We are always seeing the numerous projects executed by Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf at the local government and state level. These attracted our decamping in to Kwankwasiyya NNPP under the Hon. Commissioner of Humanitarian Affairs Alhaji Adamu Aliyu Kibiya ” she revealed.
Also speaking, the decamped members Hajiya Lami Alasan woman leader II Kibiya, Malam Garba Sallah, Mai Dawa Garba and Babannan Alasan registered for their total support and loyalty to NNPP and the National Kwankwasiyya Leader Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
In a statement signed by Director public enlightenment state ministry of Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru said receiving the APC members, the Commissioner Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Adamu Aliyu Kibiya assured them for equal treatment from the leadership of the NNPP party in Kibiya Local Government Area.
” As from now, you should continue to feel free and embrace each other as members of the NNPP to ensure victory of our great party, progress of our local government area and the state at large” said Kibiya.
The Council Chairman Auwalu Abdullahi Tarai expressed appreciation for receiving the APC members in to NNPP, stressing that the members are returning to their home as they were formally belonged to Kwankwasiyya movement.
In her part, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Women Enlightenment Hajiya Hasiya Bintoto congratulated the members, assuring that the NNPP party will find a better place for them to stay and give their maximum contributions.
Earlier, the NNPP Chairman Kibiya Local Government Area Sabo Umar Abdullahi said he was delight to see people trooping in to the party due to the good work of His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf in transforming the state.
He further welcomed them in to the party and urged for continued support and cooperation to move the party to greater high.
