Falgore Greets Kano People On Maulud Celebration

The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Jibril Ismail Falgore, has extended warm greetings to the good people of Kano State on the occasion of the Maulud celebration, which commemorates the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

This was contained in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary,Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai on Tuesday.

Rt. Hon. Falgore described the birth of the Noble Prophet as a complete embodiment of mercy to humanity, noting that his life reflects humility, compassion, and exemplary moral conduct that should serve as guidance to all.

He said the Maulud celebration offers a moment for deep reflection on the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), particularly his virtues of humility, spiritual guidance, justice, tolerance, and his mission of salvation for mankind.

As the Kano and Nigeria prepares for the forthcoming general elections, the Speaker urged all stakeholders, including the Ulamas and leaders at all levels, to promote peaceful coexistence, unity, and tolerance among the people, in line with the teachings of the Prophet.

Rt. Hon. Falgore also expressed appreciation to the people of Kano State for their consistent support and cooperation in maintaining peace and harmony, irrespective of religion or ethnic background. He noted that such spirit reflects the true Islamic values of mutual respect and understanding.

He further reaffirmed the commitment of the 10th Kano State House of Assembly to quality and people-oriented legislation aimed at improving the lives of Kano citizens.

On behalf of the Honorable Members of the Kano State House of Assembly, the Speaker wished the entire people of Kano State a peaceful and blessed Maulud celebration, and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the state peace, happiness, and stability.
