The Kano State Health Trust Fund (KHETFUND), led by its Executive Secretary, Dr. Fatima Usman Zahradeen, has conducted an in-house sanitation exercise at the Fund’s premises

The exercise formed part of the Fund’s ongoing efforts to ensure that its working environment remains clean, orderly and conducive for effective service delivery.

In a statement signed by public Relations Officer KHETFUND Amina Lawal Isa said Dr. Fatima Usman Zahradeen emphasized that maintaining a clean environment is an integral part of public health promotion and disease prevention.

She noted that institutions responsible for advancing healthcare must also demonstrate good environmental health practices within their own workplaces.

She further encouraged members of staff to sustain the culture of cleanliness and take collective responsibility for the proper maintenance of the Fund’s premises,

The initiative is consistent with the administration’s broader commitment under the leadership of His Excellency, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, to promoting a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable environment across Kano State.

The sanitation exercise also served as a practical demonstration of the Fund’s belief that a healthy institution begins with a healthy and hygienic environment.
