Retired workers of the FRCN have expressed dismay over payment of old pension for last month despite assurances to settle All outstandings.
The pensioners who started receiving Mazy benefit,stressed the needs for full settlement of the arrears promised by the Federal government to alleviate their sufferings.
They reminded the pension transitional arrangement directorate of past promises to pay outstanding debt since twenty-nineteen to avoid protests scheduled by the pensioners unions over such inconsistencies.
One of the retirees Alhaji Shehu Abbas commended the leadership of the union branches for sustained efforts towards payment of the arrears as done in some states of the federation.
Alhaji Shehu Abbas was dismayed that PTD was yet to received necessary funds for the exercise provided in the twenty-twenty-four to twenty-twenty-five budgets which should be investigated by the National Assembly as representatives of the people to justify democratic governance.
