Kano Municipal LG constructes 20 Solar powered water system,300 hands Pumps, Repair 150.
Kano Municipal Local Government has successfully constructed twenty (20) solar-powered water supply systems across thirteen (13) wards in the area.
The Head of the WASH Department, Alhaji Mukhtar Sulaiman Kankarofi, made this statement shortly after inspecting the completed water projects.
Alhaji Mukhtar Kankarofi emphasized that, Kano Municipal Local Government Council Chairman, Alhaji Salim Hashim Gwangwazo, has also overseen the construction of three hundred (300) hand pumps and the repair of one hundred and fifty (150) hand pumps across all thirteen wards.
He reiterated the local government’s commitment to ensuring adequate water supply for residents and urged the people to take ownership of these projects by monitoring them and preventing any attempts to damage the infrastructure provided for their benefit.
Furthermore, he called on residents to continue living together in peace and harmony for the progress of the community.
