The Senior assistant Assistant on print media to the Borno State Governor Hon. Abdurahaman Ahamad Bundi, has said that good leadership, truthfulness, and trustworthiness are the reasons why Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has recorded tremendous success in his administration.
Speaking to journalists, he said that throughout the six-year tenure of Zulum’s administration, the people of the state have consistently expressed gratitude and prayers for the governor due to his continuous efforts to improve the lives of the citizens.
Hon. Bundi added that considering the security challenges the state has faced in the past, the progress made so far is due to the governor’s commitment and sacrifice to ensure that the people enjoy peace and stability. He noted that the effort has indeed paid off.
He highlighted that many towns and villages that were previously inaccessible are now fully accessible, and people who had fled due to insecurity have returned to their homes. In places where farmers had abandoned farming, agricultural activities have now resumed in full force by the grace of God.
Abdurrahman Bundi said that in the area of healthcare, Governor Zulum has made significant efforts in improving workers’ salaries, recruiting new staff, and constructing new primary healthcare centers in every ward, along with major hospitals in each local government area and additional referral hospitals in various zones.
He also noted that in the education sector, the governor has performed excellently by improving workers’ salaries, building schools, and providing learning materials—achievements that have made the state stand out nationwide.
Furthermore, the governor has not stopped there; he continues to introduce new initiatives to improve the lives of the people across the entire state. Especially in the area of character and moral reform, the government has set up a disciplinary committee to check the activities of troublemakers who operate day and night.
Therefore, it is necessary for the people of Borno State to continue to focus on offering prayers and giving full support to the government to maintain these achievements. He also called on the people to ensure they renew their voter cards, considering how important it is to their civic life.
