The President of the Grassroots Mobilization for Tinubu 2027, Alhaji Sani Ahamad Zangina, has expressed his deep regret over an alleged military coup attempt. He made this known during a press briefing.
He said, without a doubt, it is by God’s intervention that the country’s democracy was saved, as those planning the coup did not succeed in their mission. He emphasized that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership is one that is based on structure and sound policies.

Sani Zangina added that, when one considers how food prices have gone down compared to last year, it is a major achievement that clearly highlights the effectiveness of President Tinubu’s leadership. He also noted that the issue of security is one the government continuously works hard to improve.
He pointed out that the huge sums of money President Tinubu’s government is allocating to state governors alone are enough to commend the president. He stressed the need to call on governors to use these funds properly by executing projects that will improve the lives of citizens, create jobs, boost agriculture and industry which in turn would enhance national security and peace across all regions of the country.

He criticized those celebrating or supporting the idea of a military coup, saying they do not understand the dangers that come with military rule, which is characterized by oppression and denial of citizens’ freedom of expression or the right to oppose the government. According to him, under military rule, people would not even dare to openly criticize the government as opposition politicians and activists are freely doing now.
Sani Zangina also stated that there are powerful businesspeople and wealthy elites who are undermining Tinubu’s administration, especially by influencing the high cost of goods. However, he claimed that through President Tinubu’s wisdom and strategic approach, the situation is being managed and citizens are beginning to feel some relief.
Furthermore, he expressed confidence that in the next two years, Nigerians will be amazed by the level of development President Tinubu will bring to the country, which will justify his re-election for a second term.
He called on young people to continue embracing entrepreneurship and self-reliant work instead of being used for thuggery, political violence, and other harmful behaviors.
Lastly, Sani Zangina urged all governors, senators, lawmakers, ministers, and all those in positions of authority to rise to the occasion and do what is necessary to support the people by improving healthcare, education, security, and creating jobs for the youth. He emphasized that this will greatly help in promoting the positive policies and projects of President Tinubu.
