The newly appointed Acting Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, has today formally assumed office.
Upon assuming duty, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle expressed his commitment to strengthening the operations of the Board and ensuring efficient service delivery to intending pilgrims from Kano State.
In a statement signed by public relations officer state pilgrims welfare Board Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi said Alhaji Abubakar Matawalle emphasized the importance of transparency, dedication, and teamwork in achieving the Board’s mandate.
The Acting Director General also called on Management staff of the Board and relevant stakeholders to offer their maximum cooperation and support as he works towards improving pilgrims’ welfare and enhancing the overall pilgrimage experience.
His appointment marks a new phase in the leadership of the Board, with renewed focus on accountability and effective administration.
