Clever Warriors FC, of Kano marked a thrilling celebration after defeating Good Hope FC 4–1 in the final group match (Matchday 10) of the 2025 NLO season at the Barau Center.
In a statement signed by the club’s Media Officer, Musbahu Bala Cediyar Yan Gurasa, Said the match held at Dambatta Stadium in Kano State, Clever Warriors FC dominated from start to finish, delivering a resounding performance to concluded their group campaign.
The Kurawa Boys opened the scoring in the 7th minute through Mahmud Zakari Junior, setting the tone for what would become a memorable game.
Abubakar Sadiq Bajoga netted the second goal, while Mahmud Bello added a third.
Nura Musbahu sealed the emphatic win with the fourth goal in the 83rd minute.
Good Hope FC managed to pull one back immediately after the restart in the second half, but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation, as the match ended 4–1 in favor of the Warriors.
With this vital win, Clever Warriors FC secured a total of 26 points and 23 goals from ten matches, emerged as a winners of the Dambatta Center and earning a coveted spot in the Playoffs Round Robin at the Gumel Center.
