In a bid to improve the education and roads infrastructure in his constituency, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Benjamin Kalu, has commissioned several development projects in Bende Federal Constituency of Abia State.
The projects included block of classrooms, offices, roads and boreholes.
They are a part of the Deputy Speaker’s efforts to enhance the quality of life for residents in the areas.
Speaking at the events, Mr. Kalu told his constituents that the projects were made possible by the support of the President Bola Tinubu led federal government which made the funds available.
He said, the commissioned projects will have a significant impact on the residents of Constituency and their Socio-economic activities.
The Deputy Speaker added that the new classrooms and offices will provide a conducive learning environment for students, while the roads will improve accessibility and facilitate economic activities.
Mr. Kalu also called for continued support for President Tinubu’s administration assuring the people of more democracy dividends.
The residents of the areas in their reactions expressed gratitude to the Deputy Speaker for the projects, describing them as a game-changer for the communities.
