The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, has reaffirmed his commitment to transparency, teamwork, and effective leadership with the adoption of an open-door policy for all Local Government Hajj Center Officers.

Alhaji Matawalle made this known during a strategic meeting with Local Government Hajj Center Officers, where he emphasized the importance of collaboration and mutual understanding in ensuring the success of Hajj operations across the state.

Drawing from his experience of leading pilgrims on three occasions, the Director General stated that effective teamwork between the Board and Local Government Hajj Centers remains key to delivering smooth and successful Hajj exercises. He expressed confidence that with unity, dedication, and God’s grace, the operations of the Board will continue to achieve remarkable success.

“I have had the privilege of leading pilgrims three times, and I understand the responsibilities and expectations involved. With strong cooperation and commitment from all Local Government Hajj Center Officers, we will continue to record successful Hajj operations by the grace of God,” he said.

In a statement signed by public relations officer state pilgrims welfare Board Comrade Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi Alhaji Matawalle assured the officers of his readiness to listen, engage, and work closely with them through an open-door policy that encourages transparency, accountability, and inclusive decision-making.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss strategies for improving coordination, enhancing service delivery to pilgrims, and strengthening communication channels between the Board and Local Government Hajj Centers.

The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board remains committed to ensuring the welfare, safety, and spiritual fulfillment of all pilgrims from the state.
