The Director General of the Kano State Hisbah Board, Malam Abba Sa’id Sufi, has successfully conducted the wedding ceremonies of his children in a grand event that attracted thousands of well-wishers from within and outside Kano State.
The wedding ceremony took place at the Jami’ur Rahman Central Mosque, Kundila, along Maiduguri Road in Kano, shortly after the Friday congregational prayers. The solemnization was officiated by the Chief Imam of the mosque in accordance with Islamic rites.
The unions were contracted between Engr. Abdulmalik Murtala Sa’id and his bride, Na’ima Nazifi Khalid, as well as Yusuf Ahmad Danbatta (Khalifa) and his bride, Fatima Ahmad Sufi (Zahra). Malam Abba Sa’id Sufi also served as guardian (Wali) in the marriages, representing the families of Alhaji Murtala Sa’id Sufi and Alhaji Ahmad Sufi, Chairman of Sufaye Investment Limited.
In his remarks, Malam Abba Sufi expressed profound appreciation to the dignitaries, friends, associates, and members of the public who graced the occasion. He also acknowledged those who extended their goodwill messages and prayers for the success of the ceremonies.
He specifically commended the commitment and solidarity of Hisbah personnel—both senior and junior officers—as well as politicians, business leaders, and government officials whose presence and contributions added value to the occasion.
Malam Abba Sufi concluded with prayers for Allah’s blessings upon the newly wedded couples, asking that their homes be filled with peace, love, and prosperity. He also prayed for those yet to marry, that Allah grants them righteous spouses and blessed unions.
