It is with immense gratitude to Almighty Allah (SWT) that I join the Muslim Ummah across Nigeria and the world in marking this year’s celebration of Eid El-Adha, one of Islam’s holiest festivals and a profound symbol of devotion, sacrifice, and spiritual discipline.

On this sacred occasion, I, Comrade Muhammad Garba, in my personal capacity and as Chief of Staff in the Office of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), extend my warmest wishes and heartfelt congratulations to Muslims in Kano State, across Nigeria, and throughout the global Ummah.

As we commemorate this sacred event with acts of worship, animal sacrifice, charity, and family gatherings, I encourage all Muslims to look beyond the celebrations and embrace the spiritual lessons of this period. We must deepen our compassion for the less privileged, show mercy to those in hardship, and rededicate ourselves to justice, honesty, and selflessness in both public and private life.

I commend the visionary leadership of the National Chairman of the APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, OFR, for his unrelenting effort in stabilising and repositioning the party at a time when Nigeria needs strong, issue-based, and responsive political structures. His maturity, political experience, and deep understanding of party dynamics have brought renewed discipline and strategic direction to the APC at the national level. I am honoured to work under his guidance and continue to support his mission of internal harmony, inclusive engagement, and principled leadership.

Equally, I salute the exceptional determination of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, who continues to demonstrate uncommon courage and foresight in implementing long-overdue reforms to reposition Nigeria for sustainable growth. His Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a slogan—it is a blueprint for national renewal built on integrity, innovation, and inclusivity. Though the road may be tough, the President has shown that he is willing to take difficult but necessary decisions to secure the future of our great nation.

To the great people of Kano State, I bring special Eid greetings. Our state, known for its scholarship, cultural depth, religious commitment, and political influence, continues to be a beacon of stability and leadership in the country. I commend our clerics, traditional institutions, youth groups, market associations, women leaders, and civil society organisations for their continued contributions to peace and order in our society.

Let us all celebrate this Eid with modesty, mindfulness, and a strong sense of social responsibility. Let our mosques be filled with the sound of sincere prayers, our homes open to the needy, and our hearts purified of bitterness and division. Let us forgive one another, embrace dialogue, and work hand in hand to build the Nigeria of our dreams.

As we slaughter our rams and share in the blessings of Eid, let us also remember the deeper sacrifice required of us as citizens to work hard, obey the law, respect diversity, and contribute meaningfully to our national progress.

I pray that Almighty Allah accepts all our Ibadah (acts of worship), forgives our shortcomings, heals our nation, and blesses us with enduring peace, unity, and prosperity.

May this Eid bring light to our paths, strength to our communities, and renewed hope to every Nigerian family.

Eid Mubarak. Barka da Sallah. Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum.
