The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the tragic death of Kano athletes who lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident at Daka Tsalle while returning to Kano.
This message was conveyed in a statement issued by the spokesperson, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, on Saturday. Falgore lamented the devastating loss of the 21-member Kano State contingent who participated in the National Sports Festival, stating, “This irreplaceable tragedy has left us heartbroken. The youth are the bedrock of societal development, and losing such promising individuals in this unfortunate circumstance is a profound loss to the people of Kano State and the nation at large.”
Furthermore, Falgore, on behalf of the Kano State House of Assembly, joined others in offering deepest sympathy to the families of the deceased, the Kano State Government, and the people of Kano State. He noted, “No condolence message can fully express our grief. We cannot begin to imagine the pain their families are enduring during this difficult time.”
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families. May Almighty Allah comfort you, grant you the grace to bear this great loss, and give you the strength to remain steadfast.”
