Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has approved the appointment of Dr. Muntaka Dahiru as the new Provost of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso College of Advanced and Remedial Studies, Tudun Wada for a period of four years, effective from March 13, 2025.
This was contained in a letter signed by the Deputy Governor and Honourable Commissioner for Higher Education, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo.
The Deputy Governor stated that, the government recognizes Dr. Dahiru’s competence, proven integrity and patriotic disposition, as well as his commitment to uplifting the educational standards of the state.
He congratulated the new Provost and urged him to justify the confidence reposed in him by remaining focused and steadfast in the discharge of his duties.
Before his appointment, Dr. Muntaka Dahiru was an educationist with vast experience spanning several decades. He has served as Head of Science Laboratory Technician (SLT) Department at the School of Technology, and a member of the Governing Council of Kano State Polytechnic, a Chief Lecturer, former ASUP Chairman,
