The Kano State Hospitals Management Board wishes to inform the general public that Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has graciously approved the rehabilitation and modernization of the Hasiya Bayero Paediatric Hospital to meet contemporary paediatric standards.
Accordingly, paediatric free services have been temporarily relocated to the Paediatric Unit of Marmara Maternity Hospital, while paediatric admissions will now take place at Mile Tara Unit of Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital, effective Saturday, 11th October, 2025, for a period of four (4) weeks.
In a statement signed by public relations officer state Hospital Management Board Samira Sulaiman said the Board regrets any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of the general public as the government continues to improve healthcare delivery in the state.
According to the statement, the Kano state government remains steadfastly committed to the well-being of the people of the State and to ensuring access to quality healthcare for all.
