The Kano State Government, under the able leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, has congratulated four distinguished media professionals on their recent appointments as General Managers and Managing Director of notable radio stations in the state.

The newly appointed executives are: Anas Idris Hassan, General Manager, Vision FM Radio Kano; Garba Ubale Dambatta, General Manager, Pyramid FM Radio Kano; Mukhtar Abdullahi Birnin Kudu, General Manager, Nasara FM Radio Kano; and Muhammad Musa Mohammed Inya, Managing Director, Hikima FM Radio Kano.

The State Government, through the Ministry of Information and Internal Affairs, extends its heartfelt congratulations to them on behalf of the Government and the good people of Kano State. Their appointments are well-deserved and based on merit and professionalism, considering their years of dedicated service in the media industry.

The Government recognizes their wealth of experience and commitment to journalistic excellence, which align with the vision of Abba Kabir Yusuf administration. Particularly its ongoing efforts to promote credible, responsible, and development-oriented journalism and information dissemination in Kano State.

The Kano State Government remains committed to sustaining a healthy partnership with the media a deliberate effort that has fostered a cordial working relationship and significantly strengthened public enlightenment and media sensitization on government programmes and activities.

It is our hope that the media will continue to collaborate with the State Government in upholding ethical standards and promoting professional journalism. This collective effort will enhance effective information management across the state and support the campaign against disinformation and misinformation.

The State Government therefore urges the newly appointed executives to justify the confidence reposed in them by upholding the highest principles of fairness, objectivity, and integrity in their professional conduct. The Government also reaffirms its unwavering commitment, under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, to supporting the media as a vital partner in governance and public engagement.
