Kano state government has assured its readiness to improve human development across the state.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf stated this during the flag off of the distribution of state first end of Ramadan support to 28 different Islamic groups across the state.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf represented by the state commissioner for Religious affairs sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Auwal said over 90 trucks of Rice were Distributes to the less privileged in the state.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf further said during this holly month of Ramadan Kano state government increased feeding centers for Iftar from 50 to 115 centers across 8 metropolitan local governments that over 115 thousand people benefited every day.
According to Governor, this is part of government policy in providing the social-economic wellbeing to the teeming populace in the state.
Speaking earlier, the state commissioner for land and physical planning Alhaji Abduljabbar Muhammad Umar said the gesture comprised one 50kg bag of Rice, one cartoon of Mercari and 20 thousand Naira to over 3400 beneficiaries from 28: different Islamic groups across the state.
Alhaji Abduljabbar Muhammad Umar further said this is part of present administration policy in supporting the less privileged across the state especially in this holy month of Ramadan.
In their saperate goodwill massages, the commander General state Hisba board sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, Sheikh Hassan Sani Kafinga and Sheikh Nasbar Dr. Nasiru Kabara commended the Kano state government through ministry for land and physical planning commissioner Alhaji Abduljabbar Muhammad Umar for the gesture especially in this holy month of Ramadan which is in line with the teaching of Islamic Religion.
