The Kano State Police Command has vowed to take decisive action against anyone attempting to disrupt the Tal’udu Flyover construction, as part of renewed efforts to guarantee the safety of lives, properties, and critical public infrastructure.
Speaking during a high-level consultative meeting at the Nigeria Police Anti-Daba Operational Base in Tal’udu, the representative of State Commissioner of Police, made it clear that the Force will not tolerate any acts of sabotage, theft, or vandalism at the project site.
He added that, both plain-clothed and uniformed officers have been deployed around the project perimeter, with surveillance teams working round-the-clock to detect and neutralize any threats.
Representing the State Commissioner for Land and Physical Planning, Alhaji Abduljabar Umar, the Acting Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Muhammad Yahuza, stressed that the project is part of the government’s broader vision to modernize Kano’s infrastructure and must be protected from disruption.
Community leaders from the affected areas including Alhaji Abba Aminu Imam, Chairman of the Three Communities Residence Tal’udu, Sani Mainagge, and Kabuga Alhaji Salisu Isa and Malam Musa Shehu, said many affected residents have already received compensation and all they need now is security.
