The Kano State Office of the Auditor General has received the 2024 Annual Financial Statement Report from the State Accountant General’s office.

Statement signed by Bashir Habib Yahaya for the Office of Acting Auditor General further stated that the report was presented by Director Final Account, Malam Rabiu Abdullahi, who appreciated the professionalism displayed by audit staff.

The Acting Auditor General, Malam Rabiu Yusuf, commended the Final Account Department for the timely submission and assured that the audit would be completed soon to meet international targets.

He added that his years of involvement in reviewing financial annual reports under previous audit leaders had given him valuable experience, enabling him to effectively handle the task.

He expressed his office’s readiness to work harmoniously with the Accountant General’s office for the benefit of Kano State.

The exchange highlights the collaboration between the two offices, with both parties emphasizing the importance of synergy in achieving positive outcomes.
