The Kano State medical team deployed for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage, under the leadership of Dr. Ibrahim Musa, is working round the clock to safeguard the health and wellbeing of Kano pilgrims throughout this sacred journey.
The medical team is fully equipped with essential medicines, emergency response kits, and a trained workforce of doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. Clinics have been strategically stationed and are open to attend promptly to any pilgrim experiencing discomfort or illness.
Dr. Ibrahim Musa has urged all pilgrims to be vigilant and cautious about their health, particularly concerning food hygiene and hydration.
“Pilgrims must remember that they are on a spiritual journey, one that demands strength, clarity, and wellness,” he stated. “We advise that you eat healthy, stay hydrated, rest adequately, and avoid overcrowded areas whenever possible.”
The medical team also encourages pilgrims to report symptoms early, including fever, body pain, fatigue, diarrhea, or respiratory issues.
“All pilgrims feeling unwell should immediately visit the nearest Kano State medical clinic,” Dr. Musa emphasized.
“Early detection and care are key to preventing complications, especially under the unique physical demands of the Hajj.”
The Kano State medical team remains fully committed to providing care and ensuring that every pilgrim returns home in good health and high spirits, In Sha Allah.
For emergency support or inquiries, pilgrims may contact any official at the Kano State Hajj Mission or visit the designated clinic station.
