The General Manager of Radio Nigeria Pyramid FM, Dr. Garba Ubale Danbatta, has commended the Karamci United Family Association for its commitment to community service and educating young people on the proper use of social media.
Dr. Danbatta, who made the remarks when the group paid him a courtesy visit and presented him with an award of excellent for his contributions to society, said young Nigerians should emulate members of the association who dedicate their time to supporting communities and mentoring youths.
He expressed concern over the level of poverty in the country, stressing the need for well-meaning individuals and groups to assist the less privileged.
“Our people are deeply affected by poverty, and they need support. Failure to assist them only pushes them into more difficult situations,” he said.
The Pyramid FM boss urged other social media users, especially youths, to learn from the association’s example by using their platforms to unite and provide humanitarian support to the needy.
He also called on the Association to expand its activities to cover mentally challenged persons and out-of-school children to help improve their lives. Danbatta assured them of the station’s readiness to partner with the association in publicizing their activities.
On his part, the National President of the association, Alhaji Ahmad Shu’aibu, said they decided to honour Dr. Danbatta for his consistent role in shaping the lives of young people.
“Wherever Dr. Garba Ubale Danbatta works, he touches lives and builds communities. That is why people always appreciate him and don’t want to part ways with him,” he said.
Shu’aibu explained that the association was formed through connections built on TikTok, which later transformed into a platform for community support and youth enlightenment.
According to him, the group now has coordinators in 19 northern states of Nigeria, carrying out humanitarian services with a focus on the underprivileged.
