The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has issued a formal sanction to Kenya Airways over multiple violations of consumer protection regulations involving three passengers, including Ms. Gloria Omisore.
In a letter dated May 7, 2025, the NCAA cited the airline for breaches related to the right to care, lack of full disclosure of terms of carriage, failure to respond to regulatory inquiries, non-processing of refunds and compensation, and mishandling of baggage.
In accordance with the NCAA Regulations 2023, the Authority imposed a financial penalty on Kenya Airways and directed the airline to pay refunds and compensation.
