Nigeria Union of Journalists Kano state council has begins press week 2025 with special prayer session.
The council Chairman Comrade Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi shortly after the session said the event was aimed to seek DeVine Intervention to the country, Kano state to remain in peace.
Comrade Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi further said the week long press week contains series of activities in order to rebuild members capacity, brotherhood as well as to interact with each other.
” As you know this is first of its kind NUJ Kano organised such event, by the Grace of God it continue every year.” Comrade Dederi added
The prayer session took place at the NUJ Kano press center chained by Gwani Malam Nasir Yakubu and other Qur’anic reciters, also in attendance are state council vice chairman Comrade Mustafa Gambo Muhammad and other state council executives as well as members from the various chapels in the state.
Speaking earlier, the council Acting secretary Comrade Hauwa Sulaiman Zahraddin outlines the scheduled for the week which includes:
