The Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Kano State Chapter, received with deep shock and profound sorrow the news of the passing of a revered elder statesman, renowned business icon, and philanthropist, Dr. Aminu Alhassan Dantata.
In a condolence message personally signed by the NULGE State President General, Comrade Ibrahim Muhammad, the union expressed deep grief over this monumental loss and extended heartfelt condolences to the Executive Governor of Kano State, Engr Abba Kabir Yusuf His Highness the Emir of Kano, Mallam Muhammadu Sanusi ii PhD and the entire Government and people of Kano State.
Dr. Dantata was widely admired not only for his business acumen but also for his humility, generosity, and lifelong dedication to serving humanity. He uplifted the poor, empowered the less privileged, and comforted the broken-hearted—always with compassion and without discrimination.

Described as a “Chief Executive Officer” in both title and spirit, Dr. Dantata’s life was a beacon of hope and service to all. His contributions to social welfare, economic development, and intercommunal harmony have left an indelible mark on Kano State and beyond.
Comrade Ibrahim Muhammad noted that his passing has created a deep vacuum, one that will be extremely difficult to fill, particularly at a time when such noble and selfless personalities are most needed in our society.

The union earnestly prays that Almighty Allah, in His infinite mercy, forgives his shortcomings and grants him Aljannatul Firdaus. It also prays for strength and comfort for his family, the people of Kano, and the entire nation, and encourages all to carry forward his enduring legacy of unity, generosity, and service to humanity.
May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
