There are politicians who shout.
And there are politicians who serve.

Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna chose to serve.

From the grassroots of Nasarawa Local Government elected Chairman three times to Commissioner for Agriculture under two administrations, to Deputy Governor of Kano State for two full tenures, his journey was never built on noise. It was built on loyalty, patience, and performance.

He stood by his principals.
He defended the party.
He delivered development.
He endured in silence.

In 2023, when he was given the governorship ticket, he proved his strength. Despite internal sabotage and quiet betrayals, he secured one of the highest vote counts in the country. His numbers were not ordinary they were historic.

But at the Supreme Court, destiny shifted.

He accepted it. No protest. No rebellion. No bitterness.
Just one statement: “Allah is the Best Disposer of affairs.”

His supporters believed recognition would follow. After delivering massively for the party and the presidency, they expected his name to appear on the ministerial list.

It did not.

Silenced not because he was weak, but because he was strong.
Blocked not by opponents, but by those afraid of his rising influence.

Yet he remains calm. He asks his supporters to stay peaceful. He believes in destiny.

But loyalty should not become punishment.
Patience should not become erasure.
Sacrifice should not become abandonment.

A party that ignores its silent pillars risks losing its strongest foundation.
