Tudun Fulani Killing: Kano Gov’t Distributes Foodstuff, Cash To Deceased Family

Kano state Government has presented foodstuff and five hundred thousand naira cash to parents of Abba Sa’idu Maihula who was killed as a result of thuggery at Tudun Fulani in Kurnar Asabe Quarters of Dala local government area.

Presenting the items to Mal. Sa’idu Maihula the father of the deceased, on behalf of the state government,the commissioner of internal security and special services Retired Air Vice Marshal Ibrahim umaru, said the donation was part of an effort by the present administration to console the bereaved family but not to compensate them over the death.

In a statement signed by Director public enlightenment state ministry for internal Security Muhammad Dahir the commissioner Idris maintained that the government would not fold its arms and allow unscrupulous elements to disrupt the relative peace being enjoyed statewide.

He assured the family of the deceased that the culprits will soon be brought to book with a view to sowing what they reaped.

Responding in an emotion ladden voice coupled with tears, the father of the deceased Malam Sa’idu Maihula, expressed sadness over the incident, although according to him death is unavoidable, but the way and manner the boy was killed was heartless.

Mal. Sa’idu Maihula expressed the hope that the killers would in no time be apprehended and prosecuted so as to serve as lesson to others.

He added that though the gift will never compensate him for the loss, and then extolled Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his kindheartedness in that respec.

The items include,two bags of Rice , likewise cartons of spaghetti, Macaroni and Detergent.

Others were 25 litres of cooking and palm oils,one bag of Flour,sugar, and carton of laundry soap.
