Many people, especially in local government areas, usually face various challenges—such as shortage of drinking water, dilapidated classrooms for students, damaged roads, and many other issues.
Because of these challenges, community members and development associations, together with concerned individuals, often make appeals to leaders at different levels, including local government chairmen, since they are the closest authorities to the people and expected to provide relief to their problems.

While some local government chairmen respond promptly after receiving reports of the needs of their people by providing development projects in their communities, the Chairman of Ringim Local Government in Jigawa State, Hon. Badamasi, has also carried out several projects within and outside the local government area.
Speaking about the developmental projects he provided, Hon. Badamasi Garba, Chairman of Ringim Local Government, said they must continue carrying out such projects in order to emulate the Governor of Jigawa State, Malam Umar Namadi, based on the good works he is delivering across the state.
The Chairman also pledged to continue these kinds of projects and called on the people to continue giving their cooperation and prayers for more quality achievements.
Since people seek assistance from authorities in many areas for their development, there is a need for those in positions of power to continue doing everything possible to fulfill their responsibilities by providing developmental projects and creating opportunities for self-reliance, just as the Chairman of Ringim Local Government is striving to meet the obligations placed on him as the leader of his community.
