The speaker of Kano State House of Assembly, Rt Honourable jibril Ismail Falgore mourns the passing of two distinguished honorable members Hon Aminu Sa’adu Ungogo, chairman committee of Appropriation and Hon Sarki Aliyu Daneji chairman committee on Hajj pilgrim.
In a statement released by the speaker’s Spokeperson kamaluddeen Sani Shawai on Thursday.
Falgore described the passing of the two gentlemen as devastating and irreplaceable whose discipline, integrity and unwavering commitment to their people will forever remain etched in the annals of Kano State House of Assembly, Kano citizens and beyond. Kano State has indeed lost the finest personalities. This is a loss for all of us, but the grief and sorrow are the deepest and most poignant.
Falgore noted that from the beginning of their service both the gentlemen established a reputation for an unwavering commitment to their work. They possessed a vast knowledge of leadership and management, and strategies for handling sensitive responsibilities. Kano Assembly and indeed citizens of Kano State have lost the two gentlemen whose death is monumental not to the Kano State but to the country as a whole.
He recalled the enormous contributions of the two distinguished honorable members to their strong legislative contributions and good interpersonal relationships with the members while in Assembly, and even in their constituencies, saying that their services would be greatly missed by Kano Assembly, Kano State and beyond.
“It’s with deep sorrow and a profound sense of loss that I, on behalf of the Kano State House of Assembly, extend my heartfelt condolences to the families, the Kano State Government and the good people of Kano”.
At this moment of grief, I pray that Almighty Allah grants the entire family members the strength and fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
“May Allah forgive their shortcomings of our departed two distinguished honorable members and grant them eternal rest with jannatul firdaus”.
