Former Governor of Kano state and former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has expressed sadness over the death of two members of the Kano State House of Assembly, Hon. Aminu Sa’adu Ungogo and Hon. Sarki Aliyu Daneji, who passed away on Thursday.
Dr. Ganduje described their passing as a painful loss to their families, constituencies, and the Kano State House of Assembly.
In a condolence message signed by his Chief of Staff, Malam Muhammad Garba, he noted that the late lawmakers served their people to the best of their abilities during their time in office.
He extended condolences to the bereaved families, the leadership and members of the House, and the people of their constituencies, urging them to find strength in the understanding that death is an inevitable end for every mortal and that the departed have answered the call of their time.
Dr. Ganduje prayed that Almighty Allah grants the families patience and comfort, and called on the people of Kano State to accept the loss with faith and submission to the will of Allah.
