Kabuga/Janbulo Community in Gwale Local government has expressed their appreciation to Kano Health Trust Fund KHETFUND, Baged Executive Secretary With Excellence Award.
The award was presented in recognition for her commitment to building a sustainable healthcare financing system and ensuring affordable, accessible health services for residents of Kano State.
The Executive Secretary of Kano state Health Trust Fund,Dr Fatima Usman Zahradden,has Called on residents of Janbolu Kabuga Health Post, Housing Estate, in Gwale local Government to make optimal use of the Health facility recently renovated by the agency
In a statement signed by public Relations Officer KHETFUND Amina Lawal Isa said Dr. Zahraddeen made the appeal while receiving a delegation from the Housing Estate on a thank-you visit to her office and awarded her.
She noted that the renovation of such facilities falls within the mandate of the Fund and urged the community to protect the facility from vandalism.
The Executive Secretary also commended a staff of the agency, Malam Abubakar, for his dedication and commitment to ensuring the renovation was carried out diligently and to a high standard.
She urged other staff to emulate his example in the discharge of their duties.
Dr. Zahraddeen further charged staff at the facility to maintain cleanliness and ensure proper use of the equipment.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Officer-in-Charge of the health facility, Mabaruka Muhammad Auwal, expressed gratitude to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Commissioner for Health, and the Executive Secretary of KHETFUND for the prompt response to residents’ request for the renovation.
She assured that the clinic would be judiciously utilized and properly maintained.
