Kano State Hajj Delegation Committee for the year 2025, under the able leadership of the Emir of Karaye, Alhaji Muhammad Mahraz Karaye, has completed its interim report. The announcement was made today at the Emir’s Palace in Karaye.
His Royal Highness, Alhaji Muhammad Mahraz Karaye, stated that the Committee’s interim report captures all Hajj-related activities since its inauguration by the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, in Makkah.

He further explained that the interim report serves as a detailed overview of the Committee’s work so far and will form a vital part of the comprehensive report to be submitted to the Governor.
The Emir expressed his profound appreciation to the Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for the trust and opportunity given to him to serve in this capacity.
In his opening remarks, the Secretary of the Hajj Delegation Committee and Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, noted that the interim report will be formally presented to the Governor ahead of the final comprehensive report. He emphasized that this presentation confirms the Committee has successfully concluded its assignment.

In a statement signed by Public relations officer state pilgrims welfare Board Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi Alhaji Danbappa also disclosed that the Board has already compiled its own comprehensive report, which will soon be submitted to the Executive Governor.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusif Lawan, expressed gratitude to the Emir of Karaye, Alhaji Muhammad Mahraz Karaye, for his unwavering dedication and cooperation, which contributed greatly to the successful conclusion of the Committee’s work.
