Kumbotso Local Government Council has been encouraged to prioritise legacy and grassroots-oriented projects to drive speedy development and improve the lives of its residents.
Hon. Bashir Abubakar Yaro Galadima, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf on Local Government Matters, disclosed during an inspection visit to monitor the N300 million project fund approved for 44 Local Government Areas in the state.

Bashir Galadima emphasised the importance of implementing impactful initiatives that benefit the community in the long term.
He urged the Kumbotso Local Government Council to focus on legacy projects that will have a lasting impact on the future of its residents and drive development in the area.
The Senior Special Assistant stressed the need for grassroots development projects that cater to the needs of the local community.

He noted that such projects will not only improve the lives of residents but also contribute to the overall development of the state.
The SSA also directed the construction of Girl Toilets and the provision of Furniture at Gadama Co-exist School in Gaida to improve the convenience and dignity of female students.
He commended the Kumbotso Local Government Council for its exemplary performance and commitment to delivering impressive projects that benefit the community.
The SSA advised the Council to give priority attention to education, health and infrastructural development
Earlier, the Council Chairman Hon. Abdullahi Ghali Basaf, represented by House Leader Hon. Nafiu Mariri, commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his overwhelming support for the council, which has enabled the execution of laudable projects aimed at transforming the lives of citizens and driving meaningful development.
He expressed confidence that the Governor’s support will continue to bring succour, bring more development, and prosperity to Kumbotso Local Government.
