The Executive Chairman of Madobi Local Government, Hon. Suleiman Danazumi, has officially flagged off the distribution of fertilizer to farmers across the local government area as part of efforts to support agricultural production and enhance food security.
Speaking during the flag-off ceremony, the Chairman said the initiative demonstrates the local government’s commitment to empowering farmers by providing essential farm inputs ahead of the farming season. He urged beneficiaries to make proper use of the fertilizer to improve crop yields and contribute to increased agricultural productivity.
Hon. Danazumi reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to promoting agriculture as a key driver of economic growth and rural development. He also appreciated the support and commitment of the Kano State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, for prioritizing the welfare of farmers.
The Chairman further assured residents that the distribution process would be transparent, fair, and targeted at genuine farmers across all wards of Madobi Local Government.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the local government for the timely intervention, describing it as a major boost to this year’s farming activities.
