The Executive Secretary, Dr. Mansur Mudi Nagoda, alongside Directors of the Kano State Hospitals Management Board, has conducted an official visitation and comprehensive assessment tour to Warawa Primary Healthcare Facility and Gwagwarwa Primary Healthcare Facility as part of efforts geared towards upgrading the facilities to standard General Hospitals.

The assessment visit to the newly established healthcare facility at Warawa, constructed by the former member representing Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Alhaji Mustapha Bala Dawaki, forms part of the present administration’s commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery and expanding access to quality medical services across Kano State.

In a statement signed by public relations officer state Hospitals management Board Samira Sulaiman said during the inspection, the Executive Secretary and his team conducted a thorough round of both facilities to evaluate critical areas requiring intervention, identify essential medical equipment and infrastructure needs, and ascertain whether the facilities meet the standards required for conversion into functional General Hospitals capable of delivering improved healthcare services to the people.

Speaking during the visit, Dr. Mansur Mudi Nagoda reaffirmed the Board’s commitment towards supporting the vision of the Kano State Government in ensuring accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare services for all citizens.

He noted that the assessment team would develop a comprehensive report containing findings and recommendations which will subsequently be submitted to Commissioner, Kano State Ministry of Health, Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf, for further recommendations, approvals, and implementation.

The Executive Secretary further commended the visionary leadership and commitment of the Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, for prioritizing the health sector through strategic interventions, infrastructural development, and people oriented healthcare policies aimed at improving the wellbeing of residents across the state.
