Kano state ministry for health has expressed its satisfaction of polio immunization campaign in Madobi local government area.

The state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf made the satisfaction while visiting Madobi Local Government Area to monitor and assess the ongoing 4-Day Polio Vaccination Campaign in the area.

Dr. Yusuf, who led Team B under the monitoring schedule released by the Ministry of Health, moved round selected communities in Madobi to see firsthand how vaccination teams were carrying out their duties.

In a statement signed by public relations officer state ministry for health Nabilisi Abubakar Kofar Na’isa said during the visit, the Commissioner inspected the work of the vaccinators and reminded them of the importance of reaching every eligible child during the 4-day exercise.

He urged them to remain focused, ensure full coverage, and protect all children from the risk of poliovirus transmission.

The Commissioner during the was accompanied by the Director Public Health and Disease Control, Dr. Ibrahim Aliyu Gano, alongside other members of Team B who supported him throughout the supervisory activity.

The commissioner also expressed satisfaction with the progress of the exercise and commended the vaccinators for their dedication.

He encouraged all health officials in the area to continue fulfilling their responsibilities in safeguarding the health and wellbeing of the communities they serve.

In a related development, the Commissioner paid an unscheduled visit to the College of Nursing and DMCSA in Madobi to assess their ongoing activities.

Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf reviewed the conditions of the institutions assured of the Ministry’s readiness to provide the required support.

The Kano State Ministry of Health remains committed to ensuring effective service delivery antod strengthening routine and supplemental immunization activities across all LGAs.
