Kano state Drugs and medical consumable Supply Agency DMSCA has assured its readiness to procured a qualitative medical services to the populace in the state.
The Director General of the agency Pharmasit Ghali Sule announced this during the 2025-2026 Tender Bid opening in the state.
He said the event is part of the requirements in supplying medical services by the agency to the state.
“This is the Way in which the agency allowed to procured commodities through tendering process.” DG said

According to Pharmasit Ghali Sule in 2023 the availability of Drugs in Kano state was at about 30 percent, but in June this year the availability of Roses to 97 percent courtesy of the performance of tendering process.
” We’re hopping that, with the Conduct of this tender each patient in the state will have access of qualitative and affordable drugs at all times.” Pharmacist Ghali added
The Director General commended the Kano state government through ministry for health In supporting the activities of the agency.
” Let me inform you that, from our coming to date we have conducted seven quarterly review meetings and all the meetings chaired by the state commissioner for health Dr Abubakar Labaran Yusuf.” DG Emphasized
Speaking earlier, the state commissioner for health Dr Abubakar Labaran Yusuf said the tendering process is very important activity, and it is among the top activities of the ministry.
The commissioner represented by the permanent secretary of the ministry Pharmacist Aminu Bashir said described the tendering process as an event were all the commodities needed for the health Supply chain are procured.
” It is the way were you can come and see transparency exhibited in reality, because all the representatives of the drugs companies will be around when their tender segment will be open in the presence of everybody.” The commissioner said
Dr Abubakar Labaran Yusuf pointed out that kano state government is ready to provide qualitative and affordable healthcare services especially with regard to healthcare commodities.
The event was attended by different pharmaceutical companies that tenderd their Bids to the agency.
